Israel at this point could make any excuses it wants. What I think they're planning to do is actually to invade south Lebanon in order to expand like they did to Palestinians. After what happened today, if they continue attacking...It means that they have no God! (An opinion from someone who's not Muslim!)

This is all carefully crafted. our US leaders knew this was going to happen. Its all part of the creation of diversions and manufacturing our consent so we dont suspect corruption. and of course, no loving and benevolent god would approve of what either side is doing, least of all israel and its partner in crimes against humanity ~ the US leadership.

As an Israeli politologist and a rationally thinking person, i promiss you that expanding territory is not the reason of invasion. Discussions about today's night bombings you can find without a problem here on yahoo (war is war, and there are thousands of people in israely army that make sure than no civillian will be hurt - but mistakes happen, and i't really bad and sad).
You have asked an important question at the head line. Hezbollah is an islamist terror organization. as long as the ideology existed - the organization existed. It was still hard to destroy it completely. The army pullout was was 100% political move. No strategic thout was in it. instead fighting hezbollah, the shitty Barak goverment decided to bring the troops home since there were lots of casulties among israeli soilders, and many social organizations tryed to end the war (like the "The four Mothers"). The pullout was also made to bring some boost to the israeli tourism economy in the northrn parts of the country. The pullout in 2000 was a MISTAKE.

Israel didn't attach HezBULLie in 2000 because Israel wanted peace. They want peace now, but has learned that HezBULLie is a cancer that will destroy peace.

What do you do with a cancer. You help the body fight it (i.e., help the Lebanese people expel HezBULLie). If that fails you operate on it. Unfortunately, while operating to remove the cancer some healthy cells get in the way and are removed.

Once the cancer is gone, you help the body to build up immunity to the cancer. Hopefully, the cancer will not come back.

Once the body (the good people of Lebanon) has be freed from cancer it can live in peace with all its neighbors.

Because when they are attacked (Israel) and respond to that attack, they are criticized by everyone. Could you imagine the kind of criticism they would receive if they attacked them(Hezbollah) without having been attacked?

Your "opinion" will of course be proven wrong, but unfortunately it has been given and some may even believe it. That was Adolph Hitler's method, telling one lie after another until peple actually believed him.
