I know it is cliche'd, but love. It just feels so good when one or more persons care about you.
And ofcourse, comfort food. Aahhhh. Comfort Food.

Truthiness, honestly, gives me the most comfort. As long as some of us can laugh at the world's problems and mock the state of things, I think we have a chance at overcoming the adversities in this world that keep us at war with ourselves.
Truthiness is one of the keys to open the doors to a more peaceful world.
:) I'm not joking either. Our sense of humor is very important and I am comforted by my ability to laugh at all the horror in the world, if only for an hour or so. It gives me hope.

That I like myself.
That hasn't always been true. I had to work hard to become a person I liked (usually) and respected. It gives me a great deal of comfort to be able to be that person.....

Each and every day when I awaken, I feel such peace and thankfulness that God let me know another day. Then if I use good sense, I can show my appreciation to God for His loving me and my family and keeping us safe and healthy. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. My house, of course.
Having a house of my own, makes me feel secure, and that i have a place to hide, when i feel like, to invite someone when i want to, for my son to have him with me, as much as he wants to.
My house, my home, is my safety place of life.
