Dose anybody have a child in prison?

Yes I do. My son that is now 25, has been in there for 5 years already and is not due to get out until he is 75 or 80.

i dont have a child in prison i have a nephew and another nephew on the way to prison and an x brother in law it is so sad and im so sorry to hear that anyone has a child in prison but it does happen unfortunately he has been in for about 5 years and went in when he was barely 20 years old and wont get out until he is in his 40s that is if he behaves and all this is caused from the way the kids were raised and around drugs all their lives there parents did drugs and they really didnt know any different it is so sad too the mother has been in and out of prison and their father died at 41 so sad but we just live the best we can on the outside that is all you can do and my x brother in law conspired to have someone killed basically because he didnt want his wife to find out about an affair and he has 2 small daughters and teenage son im so sad for them because he is a good person but alchol and wrong choices changed his life forever and the people he loved i havnt talked or written them it is so hard to deal with so i just dont maybe someday i will

I was gonna say how old? that sounded like to me, that we were talking 14 yrs and younger, and I was thinking that I didn't think that they could get imprisoned. ;)


I have a good friend whose son has been in the prison system for quite some time. He gets out and gets right back in. He is very violent when he drinks. He has the support system for when he gets out but doesn't utilize it. It is a shame really.... I feel bad for my good friend.
