i acctucally tought myself how to do a front walkover, before i started cheerleading. you basically just step with your good foot in front and kick over with your other foot and like do a fast bridge and then try to stand up. its kinda hard to explaine and easier to try and do it.

NEVER teach yourself to do a trick without a coach. You have a much greater risk of serious injury, even more so with a forward tumbling trick. Forward tumbling is harder than backwards because you cannot "spot" the ground you're landing on. From what you've said you can do skill wise, you are NOT ready to do a front handspring. My advice to you, as a gymnast and a coach, is to go and get a coach, and let them decide when you are ready.
