It depends on what kind of relationship you want right now.
If you want a serious relationship then I wouldn't do it.
If you want a fun relationship, then do it. Either way, ask her what she expects from the relationship you have together. You could be lucky (probability says you are not) and she loves you so much she wants to make you happy. Or she doesn't take your relationship seriously and wants to have fun.
SEVEN YEARS? Maybe she is bored and wants variety in her life. Perhaps she is not stimulated by you anymore. If that is the case, then your relationship may be in danger.
Maybe she really does want ot make you happy. I wish I could find a woman like that. (supposing it's with a girl lol. That's just my preference).
Seriously though talk to her about it. What are her motivations for this?
a quick comment on "passing a test" I think testing is underhanded. If she is testing you, then your honest answer or response to the "inquiry" is still best. I don't like tests. If you start wondering "am I doing what she wants me to?" then She is stringing you along and may be trying to control you. Be careful of that trap. I've been there.
Bottom line, Don't let someone play with your mind, and don't play with someone else's mind.

It can change a relationship, and not necessarily for the better. The most important thing is to ask yourself if YOU really feel comfortable with the idea, regardless of what she or others may say.
