No, it's not because you're popular, it's because you ask stupid questions like this one and people answer as it is an easy 2 points. If you asked more serious questions not as many people would answer as it would require more effort to answer, maybe looking something up on the internet for example. An explanation is also more likely required for serious questions.
P.S. Why is this question in Mathematics?
