My favorite is the 10 book series "The Incarnation of Immortality" by Piers Anthony. Make sure he reads them in order! I bet he'll love them!

If you like Harry Potter and Eragon, give King Fortis the Brave a try. It is about a pair of twins who are brought to a magical land. Rodney, the boy twin, is mistaken for the legendary King Fortis, whose return has been prophesized. The land has been enslaved by Haeron, a wicked sorceress and the twins find themselves unwilling participants in the battle to defeat the sorceress. It's really a great book full of humor and action that I know your friend will love.

I would suggest books by R. A. Salvatore. The books are about elves, dragons, magic that sort of thing. These books are a bit more "dark " than Harry Potter, but still a good read.

Look for something by Mary Downing Hahn. She writes great mysteries with some supernatural stuff. Also, your friend may enjoy the Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz. The first book in the set is called Stormbreaker. Boys love this series.

NO, NO ONE KNOWS ANY GOOD BOOKS. Everyone is as dumb as you. Why did you ask such a question? People have been reading books since they were written on animal skins and 'aragon' is spelled 'Eragon' for your edification.
