Is this still a trend? Yesterday I saw a kid, I really thought his pants were going to hit the ground! I'll bet half of his underwear was showing.

I hate it, and yes it is still trendy to walk around like you took a crap in your pants.

I've heard the trend is starting to die - thank god. It looks stupid, and I can't imagine wanting to have to waddle like a duck while holding your crotch just so your pants don't fall off (yes, that's what it looks like).

If you notice, a lot of the rappers that dress this was on stage wear very nice clothes otherwise (tailor suits, dress pants and button shirts). They look like crap on stage and get the kids to dress like them (I'll bet they get a good laugh out of it, too. I know I would if I had that kind of power). Then they get out into "real" life and dress very well.

Kids will learn - just like we all did. In the meantime I get some fun out of watching them waddle and waiting for one to actually trip on his pants!

You know..My hubby and I discussed this other day cuz we saw someone riding his bike. I wondered why he even bothered to put pants on..his belt was holding the shorts up at his thighs! I think its nuts. I noticed that most men who care about their appearance tend to have very fancy or expensive boxers and I truly think that they dont get enough attention for these boxers so they have to parade around in them in the most appropriate legal manner. I think its a ridiculous trend, one that I hoped had died out. Maybe its to get the air flow going to their boys down there..I dont know. Id just stay home and be naked then.:)

Teenagers are now following the famous persons look...If they see someone wearing it the will do it..It does look ignorant, not trying to get on African Americans b/c I am also but it looks more like there thing they do also trying to look like certain rappers..but you will also see kids going around like that saying they are ghetto trying to be cool..it is more a teenage thing but they will get over the look.but hopefully soon. They do not look cool at all, if we wanted to see them in underwear im thinking someone would tell them but i doubt it.

Let me guess he is one of my people!! The only reason why teenagers and other people wear their clothes like this is because they see all of these famous rappers with their clothes like this.......and none the less they think its the way to go.....and trust me its NOT!! i am not trying to talk bad about my people its just that by wearing your pants like that makes you look ignorant. most people already label blacks as ignorant and by wearing your pants like that just make them all the more right. if don't believe me pick up a book and read because that is where you can find the facts and where people can talk about blacks since we supposedly "don't read".
