The Ultimate Warrior is not dead or insane. What happen is that just before a PPV he went into Vince McMahon's office and ask for an amount of money or he will not do the show. He got payed and Vince fired him after that. Nobody liked him backstage he was always alone doing is stuff.

I saw him last year on C-Span...he is a "motivational" speaker who just goes by the name of Warrior...BTW he was speaking to a group of conservatives, but I have no clue what the topic was.
Not long ago WWE released a video called "The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior" and asked him to be on their online show (which is no longer on) to talk about it. He refused and sent a written statement that was read on the show; it basically said "P*ss on Vince McMahon" (might not be exactly what he said, but you get the idea). Anyway, he was a real jerk about it.

Retired, there are rumors of him possibly comming back but its doubtful now because he and the WWE dont get along.
By the way(i found this funny) he changed his name legally to Warrior Warrior(not kidding), Thats pretty sad dont you think?
