Since elementary school, I occasionally have gotten headaches followed by dizziness and nausea. A doctor then thought it was poor eyesight and straining to see the chalkboard. Glasses (well, contacts) helped for a few years but it occasionally still happens. Usually it's when I'm under pressure like at weddings or new years parties, etc. (No drinking involved.. and I'm not pregnant.) Anyone else get like this?

Thanks for your suggestions everyone. It feels like it's on one side-- also behind my eyes-- and if I don't lay down I'll get dizzy and/or puke. Stress seems to fit the bill. I'll have to look up immatrex.. I'm not familiar with that one.

Could very well be some kind of a mild panic attack.

I get those symptoms when I get anywhere near any kind of pesticide.

Could be some kind of allergy, also.

Hope you find out what it is and start feeling better soon!

Sounds like a migraine to me. Stress could be a trigger for you. Check with your doctor.

Is your whole head hurting or just one side? My head hurts only on the left and behind my eye and if I don't take my medication I will get nauseous and will start throwing up.

Ask your doctor about immitrex, that's what usually helps me.

Could be migraines...I'm not 100% sure though but those are some of the symptoms because I have them.
