A few days ago my hubby put up a wonderful poem as a streaming screen saver. That way when he is away I can read his words any time the computer is idle. Yes, it did allow me to forget the last time I was mad at him and remind me that even if he doesn't have all the time in the world to spend with me perhaps he does love me as much as he did when he did have time. Best wishes

I have to tell you, I am really blessed in my marriage. What you are describing has a snowball effect. Your spouse does something sweet and special out of the ordinary and you are so touched by this that you reciprocate (spelling) back. And then, just as you said, when times are yucky, you just reflect on these moments and smilke. Little things that I do for my husband are: I'll buy him cinnamon rolls, hide them in the house and then place it in his truck so he sees them in the morning when he first opens the door. Of course, it's with a card. I'll lay out his bath for him if know he's had a hard day. If there's a movie with violence or language, I'll endure all the kids on an outing just so he can have some quiet time to watch it. It's great.

Five months ago I had a c-section and part of it ended up infected. The doctor had to open part of it and it left my husband having to pack it with gauze twice a day for seven weeks. On top of that, he got up with the baby, fed him changed him, and took care of our other four kids.
He even helped put a chair in the tub and bathe me since I couldn't be in the water because of the incision. That is the kindest, most loving thing he has ever done for me. he redeemed himself for all the bad things he has done in the past.
It didn't make me feel guilty about being mad at him at times, he needed to know how it felt all the times I'd done things like that for him.

Well, I just recently moved about 45 minutes away from my man and so anytime he drives over (especially when he has to work the next day) it makes me really happy.

when i wasn't feeling good. when i was feeling like **** actually and he gave me a bubble bath and washed me and washed my hair and then let me just chill out. I thought that was something he didn't have to do but i was real happy when he did it because it was something so simple but so sweet and it meant a lot to me.
