Maybe that's why he freaked out so badly; sometimes people block out memories that are too painful for them to deal with. Maybe she was seeing someone else, maybe she was planning to leave him because she just couldn't take his quirks anymore. Maybe that's why the case has never been solved. I know alot of people are going to HATE me for saying this, but it's just a wild idea I had.

NO WAY! He may be OCD'ish and a bit odd, but that sweet little nerd wouldn't hurt a fly (too many germs) Although he had no problem shooting that guy when he was temporarily blind, that was only to save him and his captain...and I too, have gotten used to Natalie, I loved Sharona, and was a bit hesitant to trust Nat with my Monk, but she's cool.... you had good concept though....

I don't hate you, but it is a wild idea. There was so much love between Monk and his wife that her loss was a psychological blow to Monk. Monk developed his ability to solve crimes as a result of his breakdown. That's why he cannot solve her death because his abilities start after her death.

I love the show and hope it sticks around for a while. I've gotten used to Natalie - I glad to see that the writers are making her a team player now like Sharona (sp) used to be.

No, I don't think that Monk killed his wife. I hope that one day he can solve the mystery on what really happened. There was one episode where they had someone who looked like his wife on it, but I can't remember what the outcome was. If Monk turned out to be a killer, he would lose his audience. I love his meekness and I would see him in a different light.

No way could monk kill his wife. He's too meek along with having OCD. Highly unlikely. Now if he had a sleep disorder and the wife was nagging him about his OCD behavior it's concievable.

He loved his wife very much, and I doubt he killed her. I wonder what would happen if he had to solve a similar case. Too close to home.

I doubt that he killed his wife. I mean, it would be a really weird lot twist if it turned out that he did, but i think it would kind of ruin the show if he did. He's too sweet and he loved her too much for that.
