1. I am not a democrap
2. I am asking for information and wanted to see what was the driving logic behind supporting them, seeing as if we stopped all support of Israel we would have a lot less problems with Arab nations, and I still dont understand what gives Isreal as a nation a right to exist, they certainly don't have divine right, and certainly no nation has the right to kill civilians.
3. I have noticed alot of people calling Arabs in general terrorists, define terrorist if you will: the English Websters Dictionary defines it as:ter·ror·ism (ter´¹r iz'¹m)
n.
1the act of terrorizing; use of force or threats to demoralize, intimidate, and subjugate, esp. such use as a political weapon or policy
2the demoralization and intimidation produced in this way
So whether you use a plane with bombs or a crude rocket with bombs you are still instilling terror, and in case you have never been out of the US most arabs dont support terror as much if it is carried out on them selves.

Because American Jewry contributes so many millions of dollars to both the Republican and Democrat at election time that either party would ignore Jewish interests at their peril.
Never mind that both Muslims and Christians are being murdered by Israeli Jews in Lebanon and Palestine, political funding (above and below the line) is the main consideration.
Until the average American becomes aware of foreign affairs (without the media inspired propaganda) and demonstrates against Israeli foreign policy, nothing will change.
Most Americans seem to believe Israeli propaganda that Israel is "defending itself" in launching a military offensive which has taken months to plan.
Also USA arms manufacturers have a big profit motive in ensuring that the USA continues to support Israel.
Americans also appear to believe themselves immune to the hatred with which the rest of the world sees them.
It doesn't occur to America or Israel that in the future, many more states will be in charge of nuclear weapons and that some of them will be used in anger.

The American government supports Israel because it was put in place by the UN after the second World War, with the backing of the free nations that made up the UN. It is a democratic government and a relatively free country like America. A lot of Arab nations next door were not happy about having a free nation... but more so having a primarily Jewish nation in their midst. So they have started wars, or committed acts of terror over the year against Israel. Israel has been forced to defend itself, and Americans support her for doing so, since the UN is mostly responsible for Israel becoming a nation in the first place.
The hope was that within this free nation of Israel all people of all kinds could live together in peace. Many people in Israel are not Jewish, and the mixture of people there seems to live together in harmony, turning what was once a desert into a very lovely country. Unfortunately, enough people in the region are against the freedom enjoyed by Israelis, and against all of the Jewish people who live there. All of the innocents just get caught in the crossfire.

It has to be remembered that Israel was our main allies in the Middle East when the majority of Arab nations were sided with the Soviet Union. It also has to be remembered that the Soviets oppressed the Christians and the Jews, but gave Islam free reign. Also while the Arabs say they were there first, there has been a Jewish presence when Israel is not going back to antiquity, and while Rome did scatter the Jews, even after 73 C.E. there remained a Jewish presence there. The Arabs want to deny this, but it has been proved via archaeological findings. The Arabs are NOT innocent in this at all, they are not Victims at all. Jordan was created by the Arabs to prevent Palestine from being located there. All of this anti-Jews, and US nonsense is Arab propaganda.
It also has to be noted that we have never supported Israel with by putting our troops into their war. This is not the same for the Arabs. We have put our troops on the ground to keep them out of the fire.

For over 50 years Israel has been the only real democracy (free elections) in the middle east. While there are a lot of Israeli laws that are based on the Jewish religion, all religions are freely practiced in Israel. The same cannot not be said for most of their neighbors.
Also, because of the number of European and Russian immigrants in Israel, there is an affinity with similar immigrants in the USA.
Israel is certainly not perfect, but when their neighbors don't harass or attack them, they leave them alone. For example, you haven't seen Israel attack Jordan or Egypt. That's because these countries haven't been active in harassing Israel.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM -- An acrimonious argument erupted during the Israeli cabinet weekly session last week between Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his foreign Minister Shimon Peres during which Sharon reportedly yelled at Peres, saying "don't worry about American pressure, we control America."
According the Israeli Hebrew radio Kol Yisrael Wednesday, Peres warned Sharon that refusing to heed incessant American requests for a cease-fire with the Palestinians would endanger Israeli interests and turn the US against us.
At this point, a furious Sharon reportedly turned toward Peres, saying "every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it."
The radio said Peres and other cabinet ministers warned Sharon against saying what he said in public, because "it would cause us a public relations disaster."

Do some research, in the end you will agree that not Jews, but Zionists control American congress as well as how we spend our money and warp the mind of our public with propaganda to form a biased view of Israel.

Its not about judaism. that is the front, right there. If everyone believes that israel is right and that to argue it is anit-semitism, then the argument stops there because no one wants to be called a jew hater. and you WILL notice that to ask these critical questions, and to call what israel does crimes agains humanity will get you the jew hater label pretty quickly. I have siad it before, and Ill say it again. the us israeli alilance is as unholy as the day is long. the blood of 34 dead kids is not only on the hands of israeli leaders, but all who support them including us.

If not Israel, who would you have us support? Israel is surrounded by terrorists nations. Do you support terrs? Are you a Democrat? It is seemingly clear the answer is a big "yes" to both questions.

Israel belongs to the Jews. It is their land and they are living there. The Arabs do not want peace. It is very complex and I do not understand all the complexity of it. We should all understand try to help each other understand more.
