I have a hard time understanding the need to act like one is single while one is claiming to want to be married. So many of my friends have husbands or long term relationships where the guy acts like he is single-not doing his part and meeting marriage commitments - like finances, raising kids, household chores etc. Maybe us girls got it backwards or do we have the wrong men?

Sounds like you have the wrong men! My friends who are married don't act like this - they're completely committed.
