I have practically no sex drive anymore. I don't know if there's something physically wrong with me, or if I'm just not attracted to my partner anymore. When we have sex, I just want him to get it over with as soon as possible; I do it only because I'm obligated. I honestly believe that I could do without sex completely & it wouldn't bother me. I'm in my late 40's; I wonder if all women my age lose interest in sex.

This sounds like a cse of "same old, same old" stuff. I remember being that way with my ex husband but I was younger. I knew what to expect in bed and was bored with it. My advice is to spice it up a little. Read an erotic book or magazine, pamper yourself with a relaxing bath complete with bubbles and candlelight, maybe inviting him in....Buy sexy lingerie or anything that makes you feel sexy.... Buy flavored lubricants and maybe bring sex toys into your bedroom .If you feel its something physical, maybe a trip to your doctor is warranted.

I think it is probably because you do not like your partner that much anymore. Or you may like him a bit but not feel a sexual attraction to him. Sorry to say that the only way to test this is to find a new partner that you are attracted to and see if you feel a sex drive. If you do then you know you still can get the feelings. After that it is up to you to decide what to do. If he is a basically good guy and you do not want to hurt him, then perhaps you can help him find a partner he is also attracted to. Hope this doesn't sound too awful, but I think it may be so.
