every time (honestly, every) we take the family to the pictures, there are kids swearing and showing off and muckin about with their mobile phones while the movie is showing - the staff respond to a complaint, but no usherette within the auditorium is what is causing this in the first place. When I was young, we were taught that in the cinema you never caused a disturbance to other audience members. Little horrors have no manners.

Quite a lot of cinemas don't staff the auditorium anymore so they can make their staff more useful outside, its quite sad, I think the whole cinema experience has become way too commercial and they only care about the money nowadays, rather than the hospitality of the small independent cinemas which have all been bought out or had to close down due to competition.
