Get on the ferry at Anacortes and go to San Juan Island. Head out to Lime Kiln State Park and hang out for the day. It's the only land-based Orca viewing area in the Western Hemisphere. We've seen them every time we've went (8 times). It's amazing...

PS--You'll probably see Dahl porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, foxes, and the occasional mink while you're there, too.

Serena has the Best Answer - you get more creatures per dollar at North West Trek.
If you want to go to the San Juan Islands - take the Victoria Clipper and avoid the drive to miserable Anacortes and waiting for the Ferry!!

You could go to Northwest Trek in Eatonville to see the creatures that are mostly natural in our area in a visible area. There are deer that roam around there than you can pet.
