I have nothing in common with my husband. I would go out with him and struggle to talk about something and he doesn't talk to me. We went out the other night and thank God we had other people at our table. They left to mingle and we sat there in silence. I tried to talk and bring up a good topic that he likes to talk about and nothing.
So the next night I went out with friend for a fundraiser for Breast Cancer research and I had a ball. My friends and I talked all night practically and it was awesome....

so what's up?

You must have somethings in common when you met, you did marry, so go back and recall the things you both liked to do, bring back that spark of conversation, laughter, and hopefully you might find the things you both enjoyed and can enjoy again.

Well - has this problem just come up in the last few months or year? OR was it there from the beginning? If it was there from the beginning, then that should have been a sign not to get married!!

But if it's just recent - then you need to figure out why you aren't communicating with each other - or the wheels are going to come flying off your marriage! Try telling this to hubby and see what he thinks - perhaps suggest some professional help - and if all that doesn't work, then maybe its time to move on?? Life is too short to be struggling like this!!

Good Luck!

Aloha!

tell him this, and go from there. your silence is not helping, and who knows maybe he's bored and ran out of ideas too, which shouldn't happen in a marriage
