iPod or Mp3 player and why? My vote is for the Mp3 player!

You know what I mean... I don't know what a regular Mp3 player is called, goh... Anyway, would you rather have an Mp3 player that's not an iPod or an iPod and why?

I think Mp3 players are better and I have one, lol. iPods can only get their music from iTunes and Mp3 players can get their music from a lot more sites. iPods are more expensive and I don't care about it being cute.

I have the ipod video, and absolutely love it. The MP3 players are just cheaper, but in my opinion, they're not that cute. I guess research and see how many GB's an mp3 player holds compared to an ipod (that you want to buy) and compare prices. If it isn't that big of a difference definitely go for the ipod. =)

ipods are the same as mp3 players, but they look cooler, so more people buy them, but they are just about the same thing! i like the mp3 players better because they are not as expensive as an ipod.

they are each MP3 players. the ipod is flashier but there are a lot of other players that can do the same thing. it's just a matter of if you wanna spend more money to have a 'designer' brand.

Mp3 fits a lot of formats, both in CD Players, and in Computers and a lot of things these days.
My vote is for Mp3 also...

iPod, sorry!
I really like apple's user friendly type and i had to save up my own money to buy my mini and it showed me the value of my money. For iTunes it takes 30 seconds for me to download a song on to my iPod, and then i can listen to it all i want!! I don't like some mp3s that dont even show your library, or the song that is playing! i also HATE th iPod shuffle -barf-
