my friend is in the dominican republic... often in phone conversations she or her voice appears like she is going to sleep or is very tired her voice fades out like a record player slowing down... also at times at the end of a sentence a sort of laugh.. it is hard to describe.. or just sort of laugh a little like someone just tickled you... i know it is some kind of drug ..also would sex make a womans voice change . i am confused i need an answer.. i know it is something and she insists she does not take drugs.. but something causes her voice to change.. and sort of hiccup at the end of sentences..??i need to know before i get involved.. also would this drug in a absentence from it cause a person to be anti social.. that is not want to be close at times...sleep with your clothes on. not want to be touched.. would this be a sign of withdrawyl ??? or need of this drug....///

She may have gotten her hands on Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas).
Dentist frequently use this gas because it can act as a general anesthetic at the right doses. If you saw Lethal Weapin 3, they had a scene in a dental office where they were intentionally abusing the gas and they were all laughing at silly things.
Although the gas, itself, in not lethal, people who have inhaled too much of it have died because they were not getting enough oxygen.

If this sounds like her symptoms, call her and talk about it. If she doesn't abuse it, it is pretty harmless.

Sounds like to me she`s on Acid!! My brother used to do alot of acid and did the same thing your describing. Very withdrawn but sometimes laughing at the stupidest things. And when they come down they sleep along time because acid keeps you up and your mind is going all the time. You can look at pepole faces sometimes and it looks like there melting like a candle. It will fry your brain if you do enough. Had another friend of mine get a hold of some bad acid and it fried him so bad he lost his motor skills. Walked into walls and was never right after that. His wife use to take him to his mothers house because he couldn`t care for himself anymore!! Bad stuff!!!
