Why is it that Capricorns lie?

Ive met alot of capricorns and they all seem to lie.

yea but other signs dont have that hard time lying...caps are really good at lying like My Cuz and my 6 year old son.
i mean no one in my family has lied...I personally do not know how to lie.

actually i dont lie..i cant everytime that i do or start i start laffin.

That's bull! Everyone lies, whether you want to believe it or not. And I'm quite sure, throughout your son's life you'll lie to him. Parents lie to their kids all the time. I'm a Capricorn and I lie, when I feel like someone elses feelings will be hurt in the process of whatever situation is at hand. I would love to know what sign you are, that you claim to be so honest. Lying, is learned, and everyone in this world learns from the next person how and when to lie!

Yeah I know this thread is 9 yo but Capricorn's are huge liers . In all my years and dealings with many people it's been my experance that they lie way more then the average person . They are smart but I guess they feel inferior somehow because they will lie just because it sounds good to them .

All signs lie. If you study your astrology, it's easier to spot when they're doing it, because you'll understand a little more about each sign and how/why they would lie.
Actually, I believe Gemini has the worst reputation for lying. As a Gemini, I can understand how that might appear to be true, but I don't necessarily agree.

I don't know but you could be right....my ex-gf was a capricorn and she lied pathologically. She used to just think up lies as a reflex. One time after we broke up, she made up all these lies about how somebody trashed her car and she had to have the engine replaced. Plus, I just always remember that whenever she would get nervous, she'd automatically start lying.

Who knows.....

I'm a Capricorn and I'm truly great at lying. I will tell someone... "No, you don't look fat in that tent you are wearing! It's lovely!", meanwhile I'm thinking... "Oh God, I hope no one sees them in that!". I mostly lie/act so that I won't hurt peoples' feelings... also to prevent someone from taking advantage of me... "Hey, Tricia can you babysit for my 12 screaming kids tonight?... "Um, no I have to get liposuction on my toes tomorrow and the doc says I have to get some rest, but thanks for asking!" lol :)

No they don't. I am one and lying in anathema to my life. I don't trust those who lie...even kidders (not funny, just stupid). Do you appear gullible to some people or what? If so, there are some people who cannot resist taking advantage...the devil makes 'em do it or they are big kidders. All hurtful. Why label Capricorns?

first of all it is human nature to lie esp to save one's own butt. EVERYONE knows HOW to lie ... its just whether you are good at it or not. people are esp good at lying to themselves. i am a cap and i am a fairly honest person. but under your theory , how would you know if i'm telling the truth.... ;p
