No joke, but at the West Virginia Welcome Center there is a stall with a very strange looking toilet. It was a female urinal. No one I was with tried it, but apparently some girls do stand up to pee. We thought at first it could be for boys (mothers bringing in a younger boy) but it was way too high. It was like, 3 feet off of the ground so that the woman could pull down her pants and straddle it. Very strange.

yes it is possible, and while reading a book at urban outfitters about strange inventions i found out about a devise that is conal in shape and has holes at both ends that a woman can hold up to herself while urinating to aim her pee in a manner similar to a man's penis.

I have a sister in law that has mastered the are of peeing standing up. I don't know how she does it.

I was told by my mother, that her grandmother would stand to urinate. She could stand in the yard, spread her legs and urinate.
Dresses were at the ankle then, so no one would be any wiser.
