My computer was hacked once & i suspect the trojan still exist in my system, how do i get rid of it without formatting.

i use spyware doctor/ and VCOM's system suite 6.. i use both because the spyware doctor scans and cleans really good, but the system suite has the repair program in it to fix everything that may have had to be cleared do to a virus... good luck

I had the same problem and the best was Spy Doctor from PC Tools. Make sure to scan the system on safe mode. Let me know if you need help in starting your system in safe mode.
The do the scan three times, after deleting the trojan inmunize your system (option from Spy Doctor). I paid $20 or something like that to get the software but better than risking with the free stuff.

Here you'll get the file scanned with 16 antivirus engines... You could also try the online antivirus scan available on the antivirus producers website, for example here:

Some only work with IE (because it needs tu run ActiveX procedures)

hi .. make sure windows update is off or this will stop working keep windows auto update off its a scam from m/sbest trojan scan is xoftspy422 that will remove addware/spyware/trojans/keylag...
you can download it from

when you install xoftspy 422 run it then stop the scan click on scan settings tick everybox and click on where it says click here to select a folder tick the box for your hard drive (c) if you have 2 hard drives tick the 2 of them then click on ok and click on start let xoftspy422 run the full pc scan when the scan is done click on remove tab it will remove any spyware /addware/malware/keylaggers/tr...
that your anti virus cant remove
when you click on remove tab it will ask for a registry name and code number for it to remove the .. spyware /addware/malware/keylaggers/tr...

you have to find a website to have the registry name and code number if you find that website type in the search box xoft or xoftspy
then your see a list of xoftspy422 registry keys
click on xoftspy422 on that key website and then copy and paste the registry name and key code number to your xoftspy422 then click remove again and xoxtspy will remove the spyware /addware/malware/keylaggers/tr...

but you will have to find a website whr the key codes on for xoftspy422
