You definitely got tranny problems.. bring it to a chain tranny store and let them do their "free" inspection and give you an idea of what's wrong

I'd think it's a vlave body problem, but have it taken care of before you burn your tranny like this. Possibly, replacing the filter and the fluid and cleaning the valve body may still fix it at this stage.
If continuing driving like this the tranny will be burnt.

how many miles since trans service?sounds like filter is stoped up.but be careful if it has high milage and hasn't been serviced before you could cause more problems.auto trans fluid has a great deal of detergent in it and could wipe all the material left on the clutches inside the trans and it won't pull at all.

check fluid and smell it, if it has a pungent burnt smell it needs changed. Try a conditioner sometimes this will help.
When you start the vehicle let it idle for about 30sec before putting into reverse see if that seems to remedy the issue. Mine does this on occasion so I now start it put on my seatbelt and adjust the tunes then put it into gear.

Sounds like a sticking Valve Body..

You should try changing the fluid and filter.

No, no longer a competent theory to threat hitting somebody, so park it for now and get a chum to offer you a experience. examine under the hood with somebody in the automobile with it working. Have them step on the brake pedal. A vacuum line plugs into the booster, is it off?
