Well the first thing is are you on any medications that may be causing this. If so you need to see your doctor about this right away. Second do you eat enough sugar because if you are twitching that may be a sign that your blood sugar is very low. You should try to drink a glass of orange juice to see if this helps you. My mom has the same problem and that is when she knows that her blood sugar is low.
Good Luck and i hope that my advice helped you in any way!!!

Hmm, is it worse in your legs? I had this, I was advised to take an iron suppliment, a calcium suppliment, and a combination of valerian, passiflora and hops, actually there is a herbal tablet called "kalms" that contains all three herbs so that was easy, I took the suppliments as directed, ie morning and night, and its completly gone, as it was stopping me sleeping I was really glad of it, you could try it, I also took Black Cohosh, which is a nerve relaxant, that was very good too, if you dont fancy any of these go to your GP, because its caused by stress, also plenty of excerise is a good idea!

that's talked approximately as myoclonus. some human beings think of that's an exceedingly easy style of epilepsy - different cases some researchers think of that's via too low GABA which regulates stress/temper. I had myoclonus till i began out taking Klonopin for panic assaults. Klonopin is likewise efficient in assuaging myoclonus, so I killed 2 birds with one stone. that's truly useful to chat on your surgeon approximately it - besides the actuality that it is not seen severe till it interferes with flow intentions (walking, ingesting, ingesting, etc.). solid success.

Youve probably got a nerve problem.
For instance, I have symptoms of carpal tunnel in my wrist so my wrist hurts and my fingers go numb at night sometimes....

I would make an appointment with a neurologist. It could be something as easily fixable as stress but you need to be sure.
