How many people listen to Kraft Werk, or even ever herd of them?

They defined electronic New Wave before it WAS New Wave. Brilliant, gifted musicians out of Germany, and, yes, I still listen to them.

my brother loved Kraft Werk in the 80's when we were in h.s. German, electronic, DEVO-ish, as I recall

I used to when I was younger. For a long period, Autobahn was my favourite song. I'm not such a fan of their later stuff, I must confess. I liked the sort of seventies feel the old stuff has to it. It's kind of like the Doctor Who theme music. Maybe that's why I like it.

Yes! I have heard of them, and I like them! ...but the best German band is Rammstein! Their music is somewhat similar...but Rammstein is just the best! If you speak German, you will understand that some of the lyrics are not so appropriate, but the music is so good that it cancels it out!
