Western civilization is a term used to refer to the cultures of the people of European origin and their descendants. It comprises the broad heritage of social norms, ethical values, traditional customs (such as religious beliefs) and specific artifacts and technologies as shared within the Western sphere of influence. The term "Western" is often used in contrast to Asian, African, or Arab nations.

Civilizations that originates in Europe. Coming mostly from the Greeks and Romans. Sort of odd sense that are is in the eastern hemisphere. However before the Columbus as far as everyone in Europe and Asia was concerned Europe was the western edge of the world.

A lot of countries in the Americas are considered western civilizations because we brought our traditions and teachings from Europe. Western civilization was imported into the western hemisphere though and did start in the eastern one in Europe.

Easten civilizations are one that come from Aisa. Since that used to be the far east. As for civilizations that started in the weasten hemisphere or afirca they are usally refierd to as native cultures. While south america did have a pretty good civilation building up when the Europeans came over. It interfeared with their resorce gathering and was behind them by a few hundred years. So it went away.

Everything that relates to /comes from the 3 main pillars of the Western Civilization; Greek philosophy, way of thinking and contemplating the world, Christianity as a set of human values rather than the religious innuendo, and the Roman model for state and law.

Ha ha ha ha ha .... Civilization and West? Joke! Pitiless joke it is.
Should I relate it with facts too? Well.
Man and woman are just the animals of opposite sex; male and female. They dont make love, they mate. A female throws away the kid to a nursery or somewhere else and keeps on mating. Males are always smelling for female irrespective of their blood relations. Incest mating is a common phenomenon. Females are naked and males become naked.
Old people are longing for their kids to visit them in the so called old house, in fact the hell of lonliness. People are always after money, and money is spent on food and sex only. Is this really a civilization?
The same rule of jungle is prevailing all over there. Strong are killing the weak, nation should now be termed as "notion". Nobody is safe and nowhere, back stree murders, rapes, snatching, blackmailing, etc. etc.
Tranquality is nowhere there. The apparently rich and wealthy people even can not have a sleep without pills. They can not eat except two tiny toasts in 24 hours. and those who eat, eat like animals, and then become beasts for the opposite sex.
Yet if you insist to call it a civilization, then better call it "see evilization" OK?
