First,you've gotta earn some respect (By passing levels or killing
other gang members...) Then depending on your respect you
can recruit homies up to 7 I think this way:
Stand in front of a Grove St homie & press aim button, then press
the "Group Ctrl forward" button, & you'll see a bar appearing
above of your screen that shows the gang power...Piece of cake
do it with other guys too...If you want to tell them to stop, aim
at them & press "Group ctrl backward" & they'll stay.This will
also dismember them if you leave them for a long distance!

You have to get enough respect (by getting territorry, killing dealers, etc...) before you can recruit them.
