Even if the UN says something, what can they realistically do? Trade embargos? Who cares, the USA props up their economy anyway, and without any sort of military all threats are pretty much idle against countries anyway. Without an international military it becomes more or less impossible for the UN to really pressure any country into listening to it. It's the kind of system where it only works if everyone agrees to listen to the rules.

First, just because the UN makes a pronouncement doesn't mean much will happen because of it. I suggest you do more reading about the U.N.
Secondly, if you think the Nazi Holocaust and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are equivalent, you are very much biased to the Palestinian side. Not that I deny the Palestinians have some legitimate complaints, but this is not comparable to the Jewish plight in Nazi Germany. You aren't being helpful in changing world opinion toward a just solution. We need more informed dialogue in order to instruct others about this tragedy.
I would like just as much as anyone for there to be justice and peace in the Mideast. But rhetoric such as your question just throws more fuel on the fire. Please keep on questing, but consider looking at non-violence and reconciliation as means. Learn as much as you can about reconciliation and conflict resolution.
And let there be peace on Earth.

As much as I am against Israel's current actions, lets not compare it to the Nazis. The Nazis started a war which killed over 20 million people plus they killed over 9 million civilians in various kinds of death camps. While Israel is doing terrible things, it's not genocide. It is indiscriminate and irresponsible and wrong, but not genocide. Israel's army and air force are big enough that if they were going to carry out genocide, they'd have killed alot more than 800 civilians by now.

While I think that they are extremists right now, they did take this out of the US playbook.
Did we not invade two countries and kill thousands becasue of terrorist activity.
Isreal feels just as threatened and maybe more threatened. It is hard to sit back and watch rockets be launched from a neighbors yard and have the neighbor not do anything about it

I see that you are not informed about the corrupted U.N and their lack of backing up their words so don't celebrate too soon or not at all.
Update:
Not to mention that the same old U.N made a resolution to get rid of hebollbit@& but nothing was done. Wow the U.N is such heros. Man please, get off this site and research your worst subject, History.
Government educated, yes, you are. how sad.

Bravo, the UN, keep up the good work. Let's wish this is not a flash in the pan but a real constructive way forward.

Ya--power corrupts.
I wish they remembered their sorrow and that would help them from inflicting the same on innocent people.

The U.N. is "all blow and no go" - an unfortunate waste of time and money.
