im tryin 2 install java but i cant cuz no file or directory. if thts not the case,

as superuser run "mkdir /usr/java/"

It sounds like you may be trying to install this from a non-root user. Log in as root (su) and then run the install. It should create the /usr/java directory for you.

While I've no intention of insulting you, please do let me say this sincerely, that you shouldn't even be trying to do anything with Java at the level you show yourself to be.

Please do learn [a] English and [b] Java Basics, preferable in your mother tongue; because your knowledge of English is scary ... and then, try Java.

just try to install full version of jdk1.4 or 5 it will automaticall create directory
