I have just seen a bloke in his 40's with a fred perry top and cap a pair of tracksuit bottoms, wearing a pair of rockports, swigging from a can of ace lager, whilst riding one of those mini bikes! Shouldn't all middle aged chavs who should know better all be eradicated

yes that was me, you seem to have a problem with men like me who are trendy, smartly dressed, travel in style and drink only the finest of ales. if i'm correct you live next door to me and your house is nothing less than a brothel with men coming and going at all hours of the day and night, crop tops and white leggings(where all the elastication has gone in them) may be your idea of fashion love but it went out in the eighties. people should take a good long hard look at themselves before critisising fashion gurus like myself. broom broom!!!!!

Time to critise middle aged folks is when you have arrived at that age yourself love. Should never be critical until you have lived a little. Maybe you think we should all be put down at the age of 45. Your dad is probably a chav to other youngsters. NO?, but hey !!, he's your dad right junior, but that don't count does it.......... Try growing up a littlle and getting a little maturity in your life before opening you mouth and letting your butt talk, might even learn something worthwhile.

Any chav's no matter what there age should be eradicated, even my brother, who insists on dressing his 5 year old son in a same way should be. It makes me cringe when I see them, they really do need to get some style!
When I say to him 'Why don't you dress fashionably', he takes offence and replies 'I am, this burberry hat is the latest out!' What can you do but laugh at these unfortunate souls! lol.

They are awful I agree, but it is more important to eradicate the young ones as they are more likely to reproduce and bring up even worse ones. Did you know the average British I.Q. has dropped to well below the European average, and Scotland's average I.Q. has dropped even further because of the brain drain from north to south, it is now below 100. Soon there will be nothing but old people and chav/ned/schemie peasant scum.

Chev isn't that what once was called a Towny. they are sad people who have no identity of there own and have two follow other people to fit in. at least bikers, punks Goths have an individual style ,each one is different and not dressed like a reject from a table cloth club. and get rid of the gipo earrings girls we is not in Spain (bring on the next disaster fashion trend)

hahahaha my brother and his g/f are massive chavs! They wear nothing but burbery. I nearly pi ssed myself the other day, they turned up at my house all in burbery. My brother has tracksuit bottoms on with a burbery shirt and a burbery cap, and loads of cheap gold!!!

Its one of the sadest things in the world, esp considering they must have already been adults when the whole chav culture really came into full popularity!

Very sad! I once saw a man go into a gay bar wearing black addidas three stripe trackie top, bottoms shoes and cap! He was in his 40's and thought he looked great!

I wanted to cry for him!

Maybe he was having a mid life crisis, realising his youth is behind him. Maybe the forty-somethings see current youth culture as being a chav, so to feel young they adopt their Neanderthal behaviour.

But the monkey bike....I can't rationalise that.....

Your question poses a paradox. How can a chav (a young person who dresses informally and garishly) be middle aged?
