If it's rectangular (about 3' X2') then it is an inspection cover and available from B&Q etc along with any builders merchants. Cost probably from £10

Yes, any builders merchants sell them. I believe that B&Q do them as well.

Wickes sell them for a start. B&Q might do as well. Any of those sort of places.
The general name for such stuff is "architectural ironmongery"

if its an old type cover b q do not stock them i know i want one two only the new narrow type not the square one.
