I use Harman/Kardon speakers for my Mac and PC's...i'll give their speakers a 9.0 out of 10.....they're really good and last a long time....good luck.

I like the 5.1, 6.1, 7.1 systems. It really depends on your sound card though. Get what it supports and you'll be satisfied.
