now that's a first for me,,,A Nippy 1 liter car, First problem what is "Nippy" (cold?)

A 1 liter car, you are not looking for a car you are looking for a lawn mower!

600 quid? don't you find quid in the ocean? with 6 legs?
Because of points? Do you get extra points if you can find one and then buy it?

Don't want one that hardy moves? if it starts you should get extra points!

I am just kidding, let us know if you have ever seen anything like this. OK.. Good luck Dave

How about a Toyota Yaris? they are a bit more than 600 quid but they come with either a 1.0 litre or a 1.3 litre engine and are very nippy!

Nissan Micra or Vauxhall Corsa spring to mind.

It may also be worth trying for a Daihatsu Move, 1996 or 97 model year.

Any 1.2 will go up to the speed limits as fast as it's safe to do. So will a 1.0 but struggles with a few passengers/luggage.
