am not happy about bad news,yes,am happy when i walk the street safely,am happy to see so many beautiful different destinies,am the type of person who do care about everything that goes around me or the world.

I try to be happy about things, but I can see so much of the effect over population has placed on this planet.
This summer, I seem to be more miserable than I was during the winter. This has never happened to me before. One of the hugest reasons is the air quality, and how much crap we breath into our lungs these days.
I have also noticed that the temperature seems to be unbearable as well. I have noticed that a lot of trees have been cut down, lawns let go to dirt, and an over all accumulation of cement.
The news is more than I can take. The world seems so different from the world I grew up in. So many things that I shall never take for granted again.
The whole thing makes me very sad. I sit here now with tears in my eyes, and examine the inevitability of something needing to happen, or something very different will.

No, the world is full of bad news. The streets aren't as safe as I would like. I want to be happy but I am not. I want to be satisfied with my surroundings but I am not.

Not happy at all when I see- 200 innocent people killed and 700 injured in the 11/7 terrorist attacks in Mumbai-Civilians being massacred in Lebanon.-Disease and hunger killing children and adults in several impoverished States in Africa- Nuclear weapons and WMDs stock-piled with super powers which can be nemesis of humanity someday-Fratricidal wars in Iraq and Pakistan Shiites killing Sunnis and vice-versa-The poison of hate and terrorism spreading and causing untold suffering of those attacked-Pollution levels increasing dangerously- CO2 enveloping the entire earth increasing global warming and melting of icecaps- Unheard of deaths in France and California due to heat wave..The list is unending...

Well, not everything makes you happy, but happiness can be found in the small and far between places of life. A hobby here or a relative there...

I am relatively happy, it's hard to be completely satisfied. BUT thats where u have to find something to fill the void. FOr me God has been that answer :-)
