What software can I use to burn a DVD at home for free? I only have one disk drive on my computer and it is a DVD burner. When I copy the movie onto my computer and then insert a blank DVD into my drive it always says there is not enough space on the DVD, even though the movie is 80 minutes and the blank DVD is 120 minutes. I have went through everything and cannot for the LIFE of me figure it out. I know that clonedvd2 software is free for 20 days but wondered if there was any other software that gives you good quality dvd after its done??? THANKS!

If you talking about making a 1:1 copy, than go to www.slysoft.com you can get the latest version of AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2 there.

AnyDVD is a small program that runs in the background and allows you to rip through the new CSS encryption developed by sony. There are some other options like burn only the main movie, not all the warning and previews. It also archives the CSS encryption keys so the more you use it the better it gets at cracking DVD's. Simply put just install it and never touch it again.

CloneDVD 2 is one of the easiest programs for burning dvd's. you just select the source DVD, choose if you want it in 2 channel of 5.1 dolby digital, subtitles or not, and then pick the destination drive. it does the rest. they are not free but if know where to look and are capable of simple software cracking it shouldnt be an issue.

If you want even more options use DVDShrink 3.2 with AnyDVD running in the background. Together they have been the best tools i have seen for burning dvd's. Good Luck.
