Most people are concerned only with what affects their day-to-day lives, and don't pay a lot of attention to the big picture.

1) Every country, be it Israel or Afghanistan tries to do the best it can and the good ones try to do the best for their people; but there are some that try to do the best for its leaders and that is sad.

2) "Ego" as the world police and only super power; I'm sure we could cut and run, become isolationist and never help anyone ever again...problem with that is fanatical Islam will grow and eventually attack us again.

3) So called conservatives sounds like a conspiracy theory; for I doubt you can point to a single dark alley they conspire in. Most likely a private cigar club - I'm kidding.

4) Yes this country gives billions to Israel and Egypt, but also to Bosnia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Taiwan, and even more to South Korea. The list is long - you need to look past those which offend you.

5) 100 billions in corporate welfare? Care to point that out in our budget? Most likely you equate corporate welfare to corporate contracts - well in America we believe and love capitalism and the government should hire companies to get some jobs done.

6) Government pet projects is a product of our political system and most of the waste is political and I agree with you 100%....all we need is people willing to stand up and defeat those politicians that ask for such things.

A living wage is an interesting comment; very socialistic in mind. What about the kids working from age 17 to 20 to go to school - they need jobs not a living wage. A living wage might just put a few businesses out of business - then no one gets any wage. Not a smart move. Education is a local matter in our country, and Health Care is already the #1 expenditure by far of our budget - so I guess you could say its the priority.

Whats your alternative and what do you have against Jewish people. The United States of America is the most generous nation in the history of the world. It is also the most prosperous and there is a reason for that. We have a capitalistic society where you have plenty of oportunity to be what ever you want to be and the market place sets the prices of goods and services. Dont like minimum wages. Get some training or an education so you dont have to work for minimum wages. The reason some jobs only pay minimum wages is because anyone can do them. Sure this country has its faults but they are far outweighed by the benefits. You dont see any walls or fences holding people in like you would in a communist country. People come here from all over the world so they can have opportunities they didnt have at home.

1. Most Jewish in this country that are in media related positions are against Israel.
2. We are CONSTANTLY called upon to do this and the belittled and ragged on when we do.
3. Democrats are constantly busted for election and voter fraud and yet always accuse conservatives of doing this. They do not care about this country and would destroy it to get their power back then rebuild it into a more socialist country which would no longer be a staunch allie of Israel.
4. We give away millions of dollars a year in aid to many countries and constantly berated for not doing enough by those who do a lot less.
5. Socialists and Stalinists believe that no executive of a company deserves anymore than the lowest paid worker. Makes me want to deal with the headache of taxes to start a company under them.
6. Thank the democrats who raised pork-barrel projects to an art form.

Unlike some who post at this length, I typed it all.

Most everyone thinks that their country/homeland is best. We all like to believe that we have the best of intentions. "I'm not evil. Most people I know aren't evil. How could my country possibly be seen as evil?" The sad fact is this: all governments and leaders of governments keep the populace in line by playing on fear, national pride, and hatred of "other" nations and states. The United States of America, unfortunately, is no exception. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

this is a mix. this is like African-American or jap-American. you're one area one race and one area american, (being american does no longer advise unavoidably being a criminal citizen of the U.S. If the two father and mom have been born in Mexico, then the youngster is Mexican. A peach tree remains a peach tree no count if its' planted in Texas or in China, suitable?) in an attempt to respond to your question, whilst somebody says they're Mexican-American, it ability they seem to be a mix of the two nationalities. One parent is from Mexico and the different parent is American (in maximum circumstances, the different parent is Mexican-American as nicely). A slang, extra technical term is chicano. despite if it purely APPLIES TO MEXICANS, no longer puerto ricans, brazilians, columbians, etc. in basic terms with the aid of fact they talk the comparable language does no longer advise they're the comparable u . s .. (Britian isn't called u . s . a . of america....)
