The screens have a lot of cobwebs on them.

I leave mine in. I cut a small square of carpet and rub it over my dry screens. Takes off all the dust and cobwebs.

I'm not sure about casement windows, but I use my vacuum cleaner with the bristle attacthment to clean my screens. I don't have to remove the screens because the hose on my vacuum is long.

You could brush them with a soft brush. Or if you can't get them out to wash them, spray them with Windex and wipe with paper towels
