As you know Omkara is an adapation of Othello and if my memory (of Othello) serves me right it sticks to the original story - maybe an extra death or killing here and there but still qualifies as a bloody tragedy. Its been Indianized, if I may use that word and set in more modern times in some rural place.

Yes, as it is a Bollywood adaption of Othello. I haven't seen it yet, though. Waiting for it to come out on video! But i heard it was brilliant (Go Saif!)
