Of course you silly goose.

There are people who consider abuse in different levels.

My mother is very sensitive to animals and she has reprimanded me on some of my training. I have dealt with some aggressive animals and there have been times when she seen me slam a 110 lb German Sheppherd to the ground for growling at me. She thought that was cruel of me, that was a domination thing and when you work with these kinds of animals you have to be in charge. The dog never growled at me again and we became best friends and the dog would lay down its life for me.

Abuse is neglect and unjustly hitting of an animal or hitting extensively.

Some trainers use abuse on a regular basis, I am not one of them. I have hit my animals, the same as I would hit a child, that is not abuse but discipline, as so many need it.

Even today if one of my cats did something horrible to another cat or a person, I would pick them up and spank their bottom. They know this and for the most part - they behave.

We all need a little bit of discipline, it is what makes us behave in society and with others.

how can you even ASK a question like that? The fact that you use the word "abuse" makes it wrong....so how could it ever be right? Animals cannot speak for themselves, they need us to do that for them. Any form of abuse toward any animal, or human, is WRONG, and if you feel the urge - see a psychologist!!!!

yeah thats just horrible to even ask. you must have abused an animal before to not know if its okay or not. abuse toward an animal is wrong. animals dont intentionally hurt people so why would you do it to them. and they cant protect themselves from getting hit. so of course its wrong. next time you think about it go take your anger out on something else.

Absolutely.... No one has the right to take out their anger on an animal. There are all forms of animal abuse going on in this world and not a one of them is right. I truly believe that anyone who commits this crime needs to pay dearly.

worse than human abuse. We can semi-defend ourselves. Animals can do no more than bite and that can be stopped by making them afraid.
Yeah, it is so wrong
