Frasier on the show "Frasier". Daphne has made "Bangers and mash" for breakfast the morning after Frasier's dad had a big date. When his dad comes out for breakfast, Frasier gets a little flustered and embarrased to see that his date is still there. He keeps putting his foot in his mouth, everything he says s awkward. So he grabs a plate of sausages, offers some to his dad by saying "Banger, Dad?"

Because of things that were going on at the time, I love the episode of Frasier where his fan club (all 3 of them) was going to have a rally outside the radio station to get him re-hired:
Frasier: I can't let them do this rally. Three kooks marching round in a circle, you know what that'll do?
