Mulan. She's an perfect example to females courage, strength, loyalty, persistence and endurance. She is no damsel in distress waiting helplessly for prince charming to rescue her. She rescue him and he's a hottie!!!

"The Little Mermaid" was the first of the new Disney classics. It combined great songs and a great story with terrific animation; it set the stage for all the other new Disney heroines.
Belle was great and "Beauty and the Beast" was an amazing movie. It should have won the Best Picture Oscar. But the Academy--in its infinite wisdom--decided to recognize a movie about a serial killer. Yeah, good choice, folks! [dripping with sarcasm]
Ariel is also the one Disney heroine I've painted on children multiple times and the only one I've ever been asked to paint.

To earlier posters ... Sleeping Beauty's real name was Princess Aurora. (Good thing she wasn't rescued by Elmer Fudd!)
As for my favorite ... Belle, Belle, Belle! (I'm starting to sound like Edgar Allen Poe...) Belle is beautiful, strong-willed, sensitive, loyal, smart, and just plain hot!
