My two year old son dumped almost one full bottle of Revlon Soft Flex Color Stay base make up into his hair...it wont come out. I have washed it no less the 35 times over the past two days and it is not getting any better. Is there anything I can do to get this stuff out of his hair aside from shave his head??

Please help!

Revlon has a toll free number. Call and ask them for advice. Did you try baby oil or make-up remover. Color Stay makes a remover. Maybe, put it on-comb it through-and take each section and rub it with a wash cloth. Soap and water won't take it off so try conditioner and comb it through and towel it off. Those moisturized baby wipes might work using the same technique. Wait until Monday when Revlon is open if these tips don't work. They will have a solution. Don't shave his head and quit washing it. Revlon may have an emergency number you can call right now.

Alohas

Ok Mom Calm Down, and stopmaking the boy Paranoid over getting his hair washed every time You turn around.. 35 times is too MUCH.

Just take take a picture of him and then take him to the barber Shop.. Cut it all off and Shave it Clean,, Don't worry It's Summer time and he'll love it being cooler.

I've Shaved my head almost every summer for the past 60 years but I haven't cut my beard off since Grand-Ma died and that was 14 years ago, but I shave my head Regularly. Who knows you might even like it that way.. Now I'm not suggesting you shave your head too,, You'll just grow to like his that way..

ALSO He'll never have a problem in the world with head lice with a shaved head so keep that in mind as well..

Give him a HUG and LOVE HIM, now go have fun at the Barber Shop..

Aloha Oi

This one is rather straight forward. First isolate the hairs with polish on them from the non affected hair. Soak a cotton swab in nail polish remover and gently stroke the affected hairs until the polish is gone. Once the polish is removed, keep the hairs isolated until the polish remover has been neutralized with water.

After you shampoo the hair, be sure to use a cream rinse or a good conditioner to close down the hair cuticle from the damage caused from the polish and the remover.

It is possible that the polish remover will slightly discolor the hair and if the area is large and visible, may require a professional color job to mask the damage.

Hope this helps...good luck!

Eventhough i'm a woman, i take advantage of head and shoulders, it is the only shampoo that sounds like it is fairly cleansing my hair no longer in basic terms making it vibrant, and now they make conditioners I even have the comparable hair you do, and it does not fairly matter variety what shampoo you utilize yet what after bathe product you utilize, i might consisder attempting a john frieda product, this is meant to be super for frizzes and help save it promptly. in case you straighten it definitley use a straightening cream, it is going to save down the frizzies, defend you hair from destructive as plenty, and it will carry the promptly longer. wish this facilitates!

OOO.
Go to hairstylist you TRUST. Other hair stylists would probably make him feel even worse.. and you too.
If they cant fix it, they'll have to probably dye it back to the color it was... or cut it off! :S

Stay calm... Everything will be okay. =)

Call a hair salon and ask if they can help, or if they can recommend something to take it out. I wouldn't continue to try at home - you might make it worse.

Is he blond? Blond seems to soak up any colors for some reason. Take him to a stylist. They will be able to get it out.

use a clarifying shampoo, it will strip the color out. don't re-color it - he is 2!

cut it real short and hope for the best!
