according to EMG (a machine that measures the electrical inpulses in a muscle) results:
1> dumbell incline bench press stimulates more muscle fiber in the pectoralis minor (upper chest) than any other exercise
2> dumbell decline bench press stimulates more muscle fiber in the pectoralis major (lower chest) than any other exercise
HERE ARE THE BASICS:
1. you lose weight by consuming fewer Calories than you burn
2. you gain weight by consuming more Calories than you burn.
3. you should be concerned with losing FAT, not weight. There are 3500 Calories/Lbs of fat. To lost one pound of fat/week you have to burn 3500 Calories/week more than you consumed. there are 2500 Calories in a pound of muscle.
4. You should be more concerned with your percent body fat, not your weight.
5. the best, most effective way or burning fat is by combining weight-training and cardio exercise. The more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism will be. You will burn more calories all day long, including while you sleep. A health body fat percentage for males is 7-18%, females 18-24% (approximate numbers).
6. you should eat 6-8 small meals each day - this will prevent you from eating 3 large meal which will slow your metabolism while your body works to digest the large quantity of food.
As a general rule of thumb, you should be weight-training 3-4 times per week and performing cardio 3-5 times per week.
Consider hiring a personal trainer (ISSA certified) and a nutritionist. The money spent on these services is worth more than spending money on pills and potions.

well u r doing right with the pushups, but you will have to vary your hand placement so that you are targeting your chest and not just your triceps....try to place your hands wider than you are positioning them now...and concentrate on using your chest muscle to squeeze you up to the top of the rep...also, u can prop your feet up on something and do pushups like this so that more weight is being shifted towards your upper body....finally u can add weight to the top of your back while doing your pushups (prolly need some help from a friend) and this will help you tooo.... also, if u have dumbells or barbells then you can do what is called a "floor" bench press where you lay down on the floor and take the weights and press them up....very similar to a regular bench press without the bench (if u have a bench, use it for a regular bench press!!!) also, make sure you are eating protein so that your body can easily have access to this muscle building foodstuff...it is essential! here is a link to some chest (and overall body exercises) exercises complete with a video of how to do each one....check out this link and then go 1/2 way down where it says massively striated pecs...that is the chest ! good luck

Push ups are the best, but you need to do them in three different positions. First, the regular push ups, on the floor, works the middle of your chest. Second, put your knees up on a chair, hands on floor, works the top of your chest. Third. 2 chairs (put them somewhere where they won't move) hands on seats of chairs, knees bent, weight not on your legs at all, works the bottom of your chest. Swimming is also very good for working the chest muscles. You can buy an inexpensive pair of hand weights and do flies, etc. without buying a multi-gym. Good luck.

to build the biceps yeah you can do pushups as well as curls like 21's, bench press with bands, butterflies, cable crossovers, and as for the triceps you can do dips, skull crushers, and yeah you can just google chest exercises or tricep exercises and you'll get tons of stuff.

You need to do some butterfly exercises. I've heard that if you do exercises to work on your tricep muscles that it also help with your pecs. Go to a gum and get advise. Or go to your library and do some research. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!
