It is rank unfair.Some people are more equal than others.Like the Prime minister in UK is the first among equals. Look at God's creation! His creation is based on principle of functionality and not equality! Look at your hand and the five fingers.They are not equal.This is for the simple reason that if it were so the fist would never close and be functional. With all the equal rights situation y in a society do you not have hierarchies? Take for example a transport airplane.There is the pilot, the navigator and the flight engineer to name only three persons of crew. But pilot is the captain and controls the over all situation. Doesn't He? Same is true in some form or the other in all other walks of life. In spite of equality one person becomes more important and ranks higher in status purely with regard to functionality. This is not to say that there are some countries where there is rank discrimination even today which can not be justified ever.

Everyone has the same rights (in the U.S. at least). The only reason why someone would have less rights than any other person in this country is this: They allow it to happen. If you feel that your rights are being denied then take action.

Because some people have weaknesses and do not stand up for their rights!
All people have the same rights but it is up to the individual to stand up for his/her own rights!
NOW if you are a CHILD and See that your rights are different than an older kid then that IS different. In families we have to EARN our rights. You have to acquire rights by showing you are ready for them.
