Yes.
I did have to eat alot that I didn't like when I was a kid.
Still to this day I do it for my sister,she is a very bad cook,bad bad.
I don't go by her house much any more,thank god........
Now I eat what I want when I want,goody.

I had to eat everything that was put in front of me when I was growing up - which has helped on those few occasions when I have to pretend to like something so I am not rude to the host

No, I have not had to do that. I just act like I am eating it, and then spit it out in the napkin or "accidentally" keep spilling plates of it onto the floor until the person has run out of it. See, there are ways to get around it...

yes, i had to eat a pasta dish at a friend's house with mushrooms in it, and mushrooms give me horrible stomach pains!
