it seems like this shift is perfect for anyone who likes night life on weekends, because you would get used to sleeping from 3:00 AM to noon

i did that shift for years. was great physically for the body.
Try having something to eat as soon as you can after work or late in your shift. Then stay up about 2 hours after you get home then hit the hay. Get up when ever your natural alarm tells you unless you have something scheduled. You'll really like it, especially if you like to go practice your golf game, play tennis, join a daylight softball league, hit the bookstore, take a class at your local college or just go do lunch before going to work. Hope it works for you. Good Luck!

sleep right after I get home. But either way, it is very demanding on the body in the long run. To be avoided if you possibly can.

i work that shift some. i eat at work, not after i get off. i go home and do some light cleaning around the house, watch some t.v. until i am ready for bed.
this way i am not just lying in bed trying to fall asleep. i wait until my body & mind are ready.

I would go to bed after work. That way I can be up early and running my errands that need to be done during business hours.

I get off work, eat a sandwich, then go to bed.
I eat my big meal at noon.
If I was to get up and go to work, I'd be awake all night, and there is really nothing to do.
