Dear Friend,
It would seem to me that the kool aid has made you nervous. I can understand that it is a very sweet drink, and it’s hot outside and you may be a bit dehydrated.
If you believe that the government is hiding stuff from you, you would be right. Most but not all of the things that they hide from you is done for a very simple reason. You have no need to know. Want to know how the most high tech rockets work, so would china. Want to know where all of the covert agents are in the world. So would everyone else. Want to know what goes on in a top secret pentagon briefing? Well so would Osama.
If you think that they are hiding space ships, aliens or the real answer to who shot JFK. I am afraid that you’re just out of luck. This idea of a vast government conspiracy is hysteria. You my friend have been watching too much X-Files.
If you don’t like it I would suggest one thing, vote.
Send your reps letters. They work for you. No kidding. Want to see some files and other such stuff, it’s called the freedom of information act. Just ask for it and be ready to read some really boring stuff.
Yea I liked the X-Files too, but it was just a TV show.
The government can’t hide much, what it does hide I can tell you, you would never care to know.
And one last thing friend, try pushing all of your posts through a spell checker, when you fear the govorment I fear for the education system.

I think perhaps you are a little angry at the Government for some reason. However, for the first part of your venting, not all they tell us is a lie. Most of the time they simply don't tell us stuff until after the fact which, technically, is an omission, not a lie per say. If we knew ALL that went on, we would panic and lose what little reason the average American has left. Most Americans can't handle the truth and like to live their little lives as simply as possible in the firm belief all the big stuff is being handled by the people in Washington. For the second part, what makes you think that if we killed them all, another group of liars wouldn't take their places? Power corrupts so even if you think you have a person that would do good in the office, said person would either quit after a short period of time or they would bend to the madness and influence of the position and be just as corrupt as those you just killed. The only thing you would have accomplished is killing one round of liars for the next round to take it over as well as landing yourself in jail for murder several times over. Good question!!!

Everything the government tells us is not necessarily a lie, but it is true that they are not telling us the whole truth. I think that you can handle the truth, unlike everyone else said. But so what if you cant handle it? We as human beings on the earth deserve the right to know the truth about the world. There is still a lot that we need to know about the world outside the US. Like Darfur, Tibet, starvation in Africa and the severity of it, and many more global issues. The government is deceiving us in trying to make it seem like its okay for us, we have nothing to worry about, and they have the power to fix anything. Bush is always talking about how he wants world peace, and how hes going to "try for a peaceful ending" well the truth is that bombing and killing innocent civilians is not a form of peace. I hope that this answered your question. You can handle the truth. and we as a country need it

If I didn't know any better I would say that you are a government infiltrator. But at any rate, of course they've lied. Not just this administration. All of them I would assume. The problem is that the American people have been purposely dumbed down through school and all media outlets. It is true that if you tell a lie long enough you can brainwash the masses. You know that Stalin,Lenin, and Hitler all wanted to bring about the NEW ORDER> PRESIDENT BUSH 1 stated now we are in the NEW WORLD ORDER. If I were you, I would read THE TURNER DIARY'S you know, the one they said TIMOTHY MCVEIGH read before he SUPPOSEDLY did his nasty deed.........It is supposed to be a fictional book, but hey, if you read between the lines who ever wrote it knew pretty much what would lay in store for this country. See larouchepac.com the June 6,2006 webcast........

I think you're right about the lies. The government does lie to us all the time and they try to feed us what they think we want to hear. But to kill them is kind of crazy. Right now if you were elected to do their jobs could u do it? I know you're saying yes, but the real answer is no. When you have a billion people depending on you and what you do and what decisions you make it gets stressful. I think sometimes they lie just because they would rather have us feel safer or better about the issues in our country. The people of our government have hard jobs. I mean they almost have to agree with what that idiot for a president says. Before I blame any other government officials..I'd blame Bush. Before Bush you could trust the government and believe that they were out there for you. But now it's all about themselves and Bush is the reason for that. Anyone who has to cheat to win isn't trustworthy anyway.

I'm not sure if you're just stupid or an anti-american terrorist. I suspect that everything you know about the US government was learned by watching the news on TV, or listening to Talk Radio, or reading the newspaper, or reading other's thoughts on line, all of which is controlled by the media, not the government. Unless of course, you've been to Washington for a personal visit with the President or served in the Military, which I'm sure you wouldn't have the courage for. You belong in another country & almost any of them would have you shot for treason. You are very lucky if you're in the US.

Thank heavens for this. Kiiling is wrong though, just OUT them.
Why have they not released video footage of the Pentagon crash?
Where is Osama Bin Laden?
Who leaked CIA details?
Why was it only the 3 buildings owned by Silverstein were attacked on the 9/11 attack and building 7 collapse independently?
Why have they not released the planes black boxes for independent inspection?
Why are they pretending that the 2 soldiers kidnapped are the reasons Israel released this devastation on the Lebanese people?
Why are our soldiers dying in Iraq when 'Islamic terrorists' are apparently in Syria.
I could go on but I will leave some for others.

If we were to start over from scratch we would quickly wind up with exactly the same problem. We insist that the government lie to us, by so actively supporting people based on the ferocity of their lies. I give you as the prime example the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" attacks of the 2004 election, arguably the turning point of that campaign.
Our government is corrupt through and through, but only because we insist that it be corrupt through and through. We love being lied to. Just take a look around here on Yahoo Answers, and you can't miss it.

They do lie. Both sides of the isle. But big difference is that the Liberal Democrats have a conspiracy to mislead and misdirect the thoughts and actions of the common person. It's sad, but the common person is not smart enough to govern themselves and the ultra smart are anti Christ. The middle IQ's just take the smart sounding stuff that the Liberals send out and pass it on never even stopping to see if it is true.
research the think tanks of Europe and people like Herbert Marcuse. They( the Liberals ) have brain washed the majority and we are to dumb to do anything about it.

I think you should be more careful as to what you say on here, they might be standing outside your door right now, as far as the rest of what you said I agree, although I have known this for a long time but hey, some of us get wiser as we get older, sadly I still go and vote anyways even though I don't think it really makes a difference anymore, I wish there was a way we could start over
