I told my husband on the phone that all of our animals were fine - but our eleven year old cat didn't come home last night, and I'm worried that an owl probably got her. She always comes back at night, and she is his favorite, so he would worry about it. He's far from home and on the road, so I don't want him upset in those circumstances. I'll tell him the truth when he gets home, and pray that she finds her way home before he does.

This morning my neighbour asked me, "How are you today." I lied and said, "Fine" when in fact I'm sick and tired of being left to raise three kids by myself while my husband spends every waking moment at his work and has en endless number of excuses as to why it's more important he be there instead at home with us. And then he yaps at me for packing on an extra 35 lbs.
I'm really sorry, I just needed to get that off my chest.

Hello,
I told the man at an appliance store...
That his toaster i just purchased from him for sixty bucks,sucked...
Because the lever you push to start toasting just broke inside,when i tried to use it...
When in fact...
I broke it when i pushed it down too hard...
So yeah,i lied...
