I have a new wooden clarinet from selmers that was purchased 6years ago. Its in decent condition. I was hoping to make a profit off of it.

Plant it and see if you get more clarinets.

Ebay.
You won't make a profit but you might recover part of what you paid for it. One thing though, you say "new" and then describe it as being in "decent condition". "New" is new. "Decent condition" is used. Just a thought...
Good luck. I hope some kid gets it and it sparks a love for music in them that will last a lifetime.

Some instrument stores near you may just purchase it from you or you could try posting an add at the local grade school or even in the paper. School starts soon and with that so does band!

If it has no personal value to you, and if you do not play it, the best way to make a profit out of it selling it on eBay.

Donate it. Schools and other non-profits will give you a receipt for a tax write-off. That would be the best for all parties involved.

why not list it on www.freecycle.com and have a hand in helping someone who is underprivalaged instead of looking to make a profit.you'll feel much better about it.
